Subject matter expert on all benefit offerings, engaging with internal/external stakeholders to diagnose and provide recommended solutions to complex benefit issues.Assist in the design and development of employee benefit communication strategy, ensuring employees are provided with tools and resources that keep them informed.Assist in the management of plan documents and filing obligations. Staying current with proposed legislation, identifying the impact on existing programs, and ensuring plan compliance with regulatory changes.Lead the open enrollment process, including proposing recommendations on the benefits plan changes, leading testing with the vendor, and developing communications for a variety of channels.Analyze internal and external metrics related to benefits to assess organizational effectiveness and recommend changes to positively impact employees and the organization.Assist in ensuring all programs, designs and policies are legally compliant with all benefits related legislation, such as ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, and ERISA.Manage vendor relationships to ensure data security, regulatory compliance, contracting, and service level agreements.Coordinate benefits administration activities between our various locations, insurers, benefit plan administrators, and consultants.Complete benefit survey\'s and point of contact for questions and asks of Mecklenburg County\'s Benefit Plans.
