ABOUT TARAYJAH HOEY-GORDON
I’m Tarayjah Hoey-Gordon, and I’m thrilled to share a glimpse of my journey as a dynamic leader in dance education, choreography, and digital marketing. As the Founder and CEO of Dance Now Cry Later LLC, I channel my lifelong passion for music and dance to empower and inspire individuals of all ages.Growing up in Shelby, NC, my love for dance began early on, which led me to pursue a B.A. in Dance Education with a Minor in Theatre and International Honors from The University of North Carolina at Greensboro. I later earned my Master’s degree in Dance Education from The University of Northern Colorado, further solidifying my commitment to this art form.Throughout my career, I have had the privilege of enriching the lives of K-12 students across various school districts and conducting Adult Dance Theatre workshops. My journey has also taken me abroad, where I taught in China and Italy, and served as a Teaching Assistant for Hip Hop at UNC Greensboro. As a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc, I strive to uphold a standard of excellence and service in everything I do.In addition to my work in dance education, I am an independent artist and performer. I travel the East Coast as a Choreographer, Educator, and Movement Performer, embodying my motto: “Dance Now Cry Later.” My expertise also extends to digital marketing, where I help shape the brands of businesses as a Social Media Manager.
