ABOUT TARA LUCKMAN

I help fashion and textile organisations turn ESG from risk and obligation into strategic advantage.With over 20 years in the sector, I’ve worked across brands, standards bodies, consultancies and industry coalitions, shaping sustainability strategies that are both commercially credible and environmentally meaningful. My career spans leadership roles at ASOS and Tesco, advisory positions with global initiatives, and co-founding an ESG consultancy specialising in fashion and textiles.I specialise in:ESG and sustainability strategy for fashion and textile value chainsCSRD and regulatory readiness, including double materialityCircularity, materials transformation and supply chain impactMulti-stakeholder collaboration and industry standards developmentWhat sets my work apart is the ability to translate complex regulation, science and stakeholder pressure into practical, business-ready solutions that deliver at scale - whether that’s supporting brands through new regulatory landscapes, shaping industry commitments, or building credible sustainability programmes from the ground up.Alongside client work, I contribute to sector-wide change through advisory board roles and standards development, including with GRI and the Microfibre Consortium, and by supporting collaborative initiatives such as Textiles 2030 and Cascale.I’m particularly interested in senior advisory, programme leadership and consulting roles where ESG must move beyond compliance and reporting to drive real transformation across fashion and textile systems.
