ABOUT TANYA GOLDHABER
I help large organisations bridge the gap between strategy and execution. With a background that spans engineering, cognitive science, UX design, analytics, e-commerce, and corporate strategy, I am comfortable talking with anyone from coders to CEOs. My expertise spans hard number crunching to blue sky brainstorming workshops, but the ultimate goal is always to generate buy-in and commitment to action at every level of the organisation. I graduated from MIT in 2010 with a bachelor\'s in Mechanical Engineering and minors in Cognitive Science and Music, and I received both a Marshall Scholarship and a Cambridge International Scholarship for postgraduate study at Cambridge. I finished my PhD in Engineering Design in 2013, where my research looked at how to apply psychological theories of motivation to improve technology learning and use in the ageing population. Following that, I spent four years at BT across data analytics, e-commerce, and strategy, two and a half years managing projects at Founders Intelligence and a year and a half at Colt Technology Services running strategic projects for the Chief of Staff. I currently work as Director Group Strategy for Pearson, helping define the future of learning. In my spare time, I do competitive ballroom dancing.
