ABOUT TANUMOY BHOWMICK
With over 12 years of experience as an Electrical Engineer in heavy civil infrastructure projects, I am passionate about building sustainable and innovative solutions for the transportation sector. I have worked on various metro, road, and railway tunneling projects across Asia and Europe, where we used different types of tunnel boring machines (TBM), pumps, plants, and heavy machineries.Currently, I am working as an Electrical Engineer for AKTOR SA, a leading construction company in Greece, on a 12 km twin tunnel project using four 9.7 m HK EPB TBMs for CFR, Romania. I am responsible for the TBM assembling, testing, commissioning, maintenance, and dismantling, as well as the electrical wiring, power substations, communication systems, and networking for the tunnel project. I have also gained experience in project management, consulting, and supervision, as well as in fire fighting, traffic control, and train testing systems. I am always eager to learn new skills, adapt to different working cultures, and collaborate with diverse teams to deliver high-quality results.
