ABOUT TAMAS NIEDERLANDER

Finance professional with 17+ years experience in multinational FMCG environment. I have joined British American Tobacco as a Management Trainee in 2002 and after various finance roles in Hungary I have moved to Serbia in 2005 as Area Finance Controller to lead the South East Europe Area finance team coordinating 7 markets, my responsibilities have included financial planning, reporting and treasury. Two years later have joined the European Shared Service review Project as Finance Lead in the UK, with main responsibilities to maintain the business case, manage the Shared Service Centre legal entity creation and SAP Deployment, secure internal funding, design the internal cost recharge methodology. After successfully closing the project phase, I took the Head of Finance position of the new Shared Service Centre in Bucharest, where as a Management Team member my main role was to setup and lead the back-office finance team of 9, to develop internal policies, embed the risk management process and to drive efficiency improvements across the organization. Two years later I have moved to London, and as Internal Audit Manager participating and leading international Audits across the BAT Group - typically 3-5 weeks long assignments with a team of 5-8 Auditors.In October 2015 I have joined RB as Global Process Owner, driving the implementation of ‘BuySell’ Operating Model across the Group and Standardisation of related R2R, ICO, P2P and O2C processes as part of Finance Transformation and SAP deployments. From January 2018 I am responsible for the standardisation of global Intercompany processes and implementation of new digital solutions like online portal, process mining, e-commerce, finance transformation.
