My work involves sharing the great work of Dr. Ruby Payne with the educators and communities-Her new book,\"Emotional Poverty In All Demographics - How To Reduce Anger, Anxiety, and Violence In The Classroom\" helps educators deal with emotional issues, outbursts, violence, rage, anger, avoidance, and anxiety in the classroom. Emotional Poverty is a descriptive set of realities that can surface in individuals and in classrooms that are brought on by home and neighborhood environments. Emotional Poverty occurs when:(1)The brain is not integrated or regulated,(2)The inner self is underdeveloped,(3)Bonding and attachments is not secure,(4)The external environment repeatedly reinforces \"less than\" or \"separate from\" status. This book explores these concepts and provides understanding, tools, and strategies that are more effective than those currently in use in most classroom.s -The books \"Framework of Understanding Poverty\" and \"Bridges Out Of Poverty\" are also the basis for Dr. Payne\'s work.
