ABOUT SYLVESTER WEE
At Sentinel Global, I lead a $214M venture capital fund backed by sovereign wealth funds, endowments, and family offices, investing at the Series A/B stage in FinTech / Finternet, enterprise AI, and infrastructure companies redefining how businesses operate across the U.S. and Asia-Pacific. I work with exceptional founders building category-defining companies and serve as a bridge between capital, markets, and talent across two of the world\'s most dynamic innovation ecosystems. Portfolio companies include Chainalysis, Crossmint, Via, Auditoria, and Web3Auth, among others. In addition to Sentinel, I serve as a Senior Advisor to Patience Capital Group (PCG), where I advise on technology strategy for a flagship smart city development in Myoko, Japan, integrating innovation, infrastructure, and connectivity at scale. Previously, I founded ChrysCard, a FinTech company advancing financial inclusion for underserved communities in the U.S, recognized as a winner of the CB Insights FinTech Global Innovation Challenge. Before that, I deployed over $1B across 14 direct investments at GIC, primarily across Asia-Pacific with select cross-regional transactions. Beyond investing, I served as an Artillery Officer in the Singapore Armed Forces, commanding over 200 personnel and earning the Sword of Merit for leadership excellence. I also competed as Singapore\'s #1-ranked tennis player, reaching a career-high ITF junior ranking of #216 and representing Singapore in Davis Cup, among other international tournaments.I hold an M.B.A. from Harvard Business School and a B.S. in Economics from The Wharton School.
