ABOUT SYDNEY KASMER
My name is Sydney Kasmer, and I recently graduated from the University of Vermont with a B.A. in Environmental Studies and a minor in Business Administration.Throughout college, I built a diverse foundation of experiences across research, environmental conservation, outdoor leadership, and customer service. I’ve worked in the food service industry, guided outdoor adventure trips, and most recently contributed to ecological research as part of the Vermont Bee Lab, where I studied pollinator health and the antimicrobial properties of propolis. My academic background has equipped me with strong interdisciplinary skills in environmental science, sustainable business practices, and data analysis.In addition to my academic and research experience, I held leadership roles in student organizations like the Outing Club, Ski and Snowboard Club, and Chicks on Sticks, where I led trips and helped foster inclusive outdoor communities. I also served in Student Government, where I supported student advocacy and campus sustainability efforts.I am a flexible and reliable professional who thrives when taking on new challenges.
