After nearly 30 years of running my own business, I learned the ins and outs of making an organization run smoothly. Great products and services are not enough, client experience, reliability, and good communication are what separate good businesses from great ones. In 2017, my husband Steve, the owner of PAC engineering, realized he needed some help. He had built the business from the ground up to 6 employees, serving 300 clients, and bringing in over $1M in revenues. He was super successful, and I was extremely proud of what he had accomplished, but he needed some help making sure the trains ran on time. My role is bringing in organization, systems, and communication to the group. At the end of the day, my job is to make everyone else\'s job easier. Each employee is an expert in what they do, and my task is to remove as many roadblocks as possible between them and getting their job done stress free. As for my day to day, a recent coworker said it best,\" I do everything from making sure folks are paid on time to creating the \'Merry\' in Merry Christmas!\"
