ABOUT SUSI MILLER
I help organisations design, govern, and evidence accessible learning as a marker of learning excellence. Many organisations still treat accessibility as a compliance task or a final check. In practice, it is one of the clearest indicators of learning quality. When accessibility is weak, learning design is often weak too, leading to rework, learner frustration, and increased risk at scale. I work with CLOs, L and D leaders, and learning teams responsible for learning quality, risk, and scale, supported by clear and credible evidence. My work focuses on translating accessibility standards and evidence-based learning design into practical, scalable systems that work across teams, vendors, and platforms. This includes learning assurance frameworks, accessibility auditing, and capability building for learning professionals, so accessibility is embedded into workflows, reducing rework, retrofitting, and unnecessary use of time and budget.I am the Founder and Director of eLaHub and the author of Designing Accessible Learning Content. I was awarded Learning Professional of the Year Gold Winner by the Learning Performance Institute in 2025. My work is used by organisations globally to move accessibility from advocacy to architecture and to build confidence that their learning works for everyone it is intended to reach. The Designing Accessible Learning Content Program is eLaHub’s flagship training. It supports teams to design, develop, and test accessible learning in any authoring tool, aligned to WCAG and grounded in real-world learning practice.
