Warsash Maritime School is the only maritime training centre of its kind in the world. It offers over 150 accredited deck, engineering, interior, maritime and offshore safety training courses, approved by the MCA, MNTB, OPITO, SIGTTO, SQA, and other awarding bodies. Its standard entry undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in yacht design and maritime business are also respected across the industry. Part of Southampton Solent University, Warsash has been providing first class maritime education, training and consultancy to the maritime and offshore industries for 80 years. As the School\'s Marketing Manager and a member of the University\'s External Relations Department, I\'m responsible for strategic, tactical and operational marketing across the University\'s existing and developing maritime education portfolio spanning undergraduate, cadetships, senior courses, postgraduate and accredited short courses. I lead the School\'s advertising campaigns, paid and organic social media, support corporate communications and stakeholder relations, and have organised high-profile events including the launch of the Warsash Maritime Autonomous Surface Ships (MASS) Research Centre, and visits by government ministers and the IMO Secretary-General.
