Studying Undergraduate Curricular Complexity for Engineering Student Success (SUCCESS)- Working on the SUCCESS project as part of an NSF team. Dr. David Reeping at UC is the principal investigator- Worked on web scrapers and other automation tools to streamline data entry for other RAs. Coded programs to validate the entered data- Co-author on a research paper for the 2023 ASEE conference, along with Dr. David Reeping and his doctoral student, Nahal Rashedi- Study the differences in the complexity of engineering curricula between majors and universities, including how students actually take courses in engineering and connecting these measures to outcomes like graduation rates- Used the MIDFIELD database that contains the academic records of students at more than 15 universities for 30+ years to track actual course-taking trajectories and comparing them with the plans of study data.
