Improved graduate-level data analysis by promoting best practices in data collection, storage, and sharing; strengthened cross-campus partnerships and served as a key graduate student advocate with university stakeholders. Implemented evidence-based retention strategies, resulting in a 92% fall-to-spring persistence rate, 90% fall-to-fall retention rate, and a 20% increase in degree conferrals. Collaborated with the Learning Design team to develop and revise a semesterly Canvas-based new student orientation course; 97% of participants reported feeling prepared upon completion. Designed and administered an annual graduate student needs assessment (12% average response rate); collaborated with academic units to address barriers to persistence and retention. Partnered with the Director of the Student Success Center to integrate graduate students into the CECH scholarship process, resulting in an increase in over $32,500 in scholarship awards. Led the annual Thrifty Move-In initiative in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders to reduce unmet student needs and promote sustainability; secured double the funding support within the first year through new strategic partnerships. Advocated for and successfully established the CECH Graduate/Undergraduate Student Leadership Award and an annual end-of-year recognition luncheon to celebrate student contributions. Elected to serve as a UC Staff Senator (2025–2027) and as the CECH Staff Advisory Board Representative (2022–2024), contributing to staff advocacy and institutional improvement. Nominated for the 2023 UCAADA Advising Community Award for Exceptional Initiative and the 2024 Graduate College’s Graduate Student Success Champion Award.
