Early in my life, as an immigrant living in Los Angeles County, I was confronted with issues related to immigrant rights, food insecurity and affordable housing. I was struck with an immense interest to be politically active when I saw and experienced the effects of these problems in my community. I am strongly passionate about the role of public policy in marginalized communities and I welcome any opportunity where I build my communication, data analyzing, and research skills!
