ABOUT SUSAN GREEN ICD. D

Susan Green is an experienced board director and respected community leader with a demonstrated history of success in the public, private and not for profit sectors. Susan presently serves on the boards of the Great Western Brewing Company Ltd. and Imperial Equities Inc. Susan is also Chair of Crossroads International Resilience Initiative raising critical resources focused on empowering women and girls in Sub Sahara Africa. For a little diversity she is co-owner of Cheval Noir which produces wine under the label Wicked Fox in Argentina.Susan was Chair of the Alberta Liquor and Gaming Commission, director of Canada Revenue Agency Board of Management and was a director, officer and owner of Guardian Chemicals Inc. She also spent 30 years in executive leadership roles at the University of Alberta, the Alberta Cancer Board, the Alberta Cancer Foundation, and the Government of Alberta.Susan is presently serving as chair or has served as the chair or on the executive committee of provincial, national and international organizations including International Women’s Forum, Institute of Corporate Directors, Habitat for Humanity, Crossroads International, Peter Lougheed Leadership College, Pearson College of the Pacific, the Rotary Club of Edmonton Glenora, Edzimkulu: A Society for Children with AIDS in South Africa and the Lieutenant Governor of Alberta Arts Awards Foundation. A graduate from the University of Alberta, Susan also has her designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors. She has been recognized with several awards including an Honorary Doctorate from MacEwan University (2022)
