ABOUT SHUBHAM SHARMA
I\'m a PM at Samsung, working on a consumer facing surface that ships to millions of users. My day to day involves figuring out how to make the product more useful and more valuable, for users and for the business. Most of my work sits at the intersection of consumer experience, monetization, and new product initiatives. Before Samsung, I was the first PM at a climate-tech startup (Boomitra) that was later named in TIME\'s 100 Most Influential Companies list. I built products from scratch for markets across three continents. Lots of ambiguity, small team, no playbook.Before product management, I spent 7 years running my own business. I started a growth marketing firm from nothing, grew it to a point where it was profitable and self-sustaining, and ran every part of it. Finding clients, managing delivery, making sure we stayed profitable. That experience shaped how I think about products: not just as features to ship, but as businesses to run.I have a CS degree and an MBA from IIM Bangalore. I also like building things on the side. I\'ve shipped a couple of small consumer products independently.Always happy to talk about consumer products, monetization, or the founder-to-PM transition.
