ABOUT STU NORTH

A Learning and Development behavioural specialist working with particular emphasis on mindset and behaviours. Identifying the areas that are preventing an individual or team from reaching their full potential and to bring about the change that they are seeking for themselves and their business. What is it that moves a person from good to great? Or great to greater? Is it knowledge? IQ? Skills? Motivation? Environment? It could be one or all of these, in most cases it is usually comes down to mindset. The thoughts and feelings you have in the moment and what this sets your mind on. How we talk to ourselves and the feelings these thoughts create and sustain will be either helping you succeed of hurting your chances of success. This might be a major project or talking yourself from asking for what you really want. Eventually this internal dialogue will create habits of mind and patterns of behaviour. If these habits and patterns are helpful that\'s great, if they are not then you have some work to do. The patterns you hold have been refined over many years, they are probably outside your conscious awareness. Being able to recognise the unhelpful patterns is the first step to not only making the change you want but too really sustain this, to notice what it is that is triggering you and to manage these triggers when it happens in real time, in a positive and practical way. This is what makes people successful changers. Implementing the right strategy at the right time. Generating new patterns of thinking and behaviour that bring about lasting change with less effort and stress.
