ABOUT STUART STUDSRUD

I have over 16 years of experience in the technical accounting world including the corporate, standard setting and public accounting space. In the Corporate sector, I have worked mainly in the oil and gas and utility markets in both Europe, North America and Australia gaining a range of upstream, midstream and downstream accounting experience in a technical accounting environment. In the standard setting space, I worked with the European Financial Reporting Advisory Group in Brussels working on proactive and reactive work that affects the European Union. Further, I was the lead author on the Business Combinations Under Common Control project that lead to the publication in October 2011. In the public accounting sector, I worked with BDO in Australia working on a range of industries including mining, oil and gas and IT companies. Further, I assisted companies achieve IPO status in both Australia and the UK AIM market. My main strengths including the ability to problem solve and deliver accounting solutions to complex accounting issues in a timely manner. I am quite creative in delivering those solutions and have the ability to deliver the significant messages to the main stakeholders involved.
