My role as Deputy Associate Director provides leadership and oversight of planning, governance, and innovation. I assist the Chief Technology Officer in ensuring Technology Services meets the needs of the Board of Governors. Key areas of leadership focus on:• Enterprise Architecture, Business Architecture, and technology innovation. I currently co-chair the Enterprise Architecture sub-committee, with responsibility for evolving and scaling the EA practice at the Board, and direct the research and evaluation of emerging technology, industry, and market trends.• Delivering Agile and Program Delivery services to effectively execute on the technology strategy in alignment with desired business goals and objectives. I co-lead the Board’s Enterprise Agile Transformation program.• Business and IT strategic planning and business relationship management, ensuring that what is urgent and important to the business is also a priority for Technology Services. • IT Governance, Risk, and Compliance services, ensuring our systems and applications are compliant all Board policies and standards, remain highly available, and are efficiently managed and maintained within Board policies and standards.• Running IT as a business, through effective IT financial management, cost optimization, vendor management, service management and workforce optimization.
