Lead the development of ML-based perception system of a 6-DoF robotic manipulation product for warehouse automation and fullfillment solutions- Lead the development of ML data processing, training, and deployment pipelines for transformer-based vision models on GCP and Vertex AI- Trained Mask2Former image segmentation model in PyTorch with data augmentation techniques and signficantly improved instance segmentation over baseline metrics (Precision, Recall, etc.), increase item-range detection and increased downsteam grasping system autonomous rate by over 30%(+90% in some instances)- Designed and implemented complex grasping and placement algorithms, improving item handling throughput by ~70%- Architected software mircoservices with gRPC and deployed new features to production environment while ensuring system up-time and reliability- Engaged in product engineering and navigate complex engineering problems while managing requirements, costs and stakeholder expectations- Continous software archtecture design, Jira workflow management, code reviews, and unit/integration tests through CI/CD pipelines
