This change from management leadership to technical leadership reflects my will to keep growing, not staying in the comfort zone and better understand (to better serve) those two paths, the people and the projects. Having worn a manager hat for 7 years, I find myself better equipped to tackle wider scale technical challenges with more tools in my palette. I am embracing the Engineering/Manager pendulum (https://charity.wtf/2017/05/11/the-engineer-manager-pendulum/).Some of my recent work- I supported 20 web and mobile engineers to deliver 18 advertising capabilities for the Ocado Smart Platform Ecommerce in 6 months (where I was initially told it would take 12-18 months). Improving processes, facilitating technical decisions and making collaboration seamless- I led our load testing chapter in order to de-risk our ability to handle 1 Million orders per week. Working with 20+ different teams, analyzing massive volumes of data daily, sharing knowledge about better scaling policies- I facilitated the creation of our Department\'s technical vision and its strategic technical priorities.When I am not wearing my tech hat, I am coaching peers and managers, mentoring young engineers and I am part of the Women In Tech Committee
