I technically lead the Machine Learning and AI Platforms team at the Very Group (TVG) in Liverpool. We maintain data and machine learning platforms and pipelines based on AWS Sagemaker and SAS. We help internal customers develop machine learning products and get them into production.I focus on the AWS side of our offering, designing, implementing and monitoring data and machine learning pipelines using Python, R, Sagemaker Studio, Lambda, Elastic Container Registry and Services, Step Functions, Sagemaker Pipelines, S3, Teradata, Oracle, Athena, Glue, CloudWatch, EventBridge, SQS, SNS, SES and ML/AI Services (such as Forecast, Personalize and Fraud Detector).I administer our ML platform account on AWS using the Terraform infrastructure as code tool with Jenkins to generate terraform plans and to apply the terraform changes. The terraform includes managing IAM Roles & Policies (generated using Jinja2 templates), S3, Athena, ECR, ECS, Sagemaker Studio, AI/ML Services and AWS Backup (the lower level infrastructure such as VPCs, Security Groups, Network ACLs are managed by our Data Infrasctucture teams).We have worked with the data science and data anlaytics teams to implement, optimize, productionize and monitor data pipelines and ML models for:• analytics data pipelines• data pipelines for ML modelling• demand forecasting using R models and AWS Forecast • lost demand using Prophet and XGBoost• email campaign segmentation using AWS PersonalizeI mentor and support the data scientists and analysts in how to deliver ML and data products, and how to optimize those to run on cost efficient hardware. I have also represented TVG at Liverpool University presenting to several student cohorts of Masters students on what is involved in getting ML models into production and building data lakes/pipelines in industry. I will also be presenting at an AWS Deep Dive conference on creating Forecasting Pipelines on AWS.

I am a technical leader and will always want to research new ideas, implement solutions using those ideas, and facilitate getting those solutions into the customer\'s hands.
