ABOUT STEVEN LAMB
I work at the intersection of commercial strategy, transformation and client engagement at Perform Partners. Our focus is on safeguarding the success of complex change programmes, particularly in environments where multiple stakeholders, delivery partners and competing priorities create risk around alignment and outcomes. In practice, this means helping organisations navigate the space between strategy and delivery, ensuring that what is planned, built and implemented actually delivers the intended results. My role goes beyond traditional business development. I spend much of my time working with senior stakeholders to understand the realities behind transformation programmes - the pressures, constraints and risks that don’t always surface in a brief - and shaping how we position and engage in those environments. I’m particularly interested in: How large-scale programmes lose alignment over timeThe gap between transformation strategy and delivery realityResponsible adoption of AI within complex organisationsBuilding commercial approaches that prioritise clarity over volumeDifferentiating consultancies through how they think and operate, not just what they sell I share reflections here on transformation, partnerships and the commercial side of consulting, with a focus on how organisations can deliver change that actually lands. If that resonates, I’m always open to thoughtful conversation.
