ResponsibilitiesTo investigate and map dementia support provision across the whole of RBWM. To develop a network of professional stakeholders, forming a key steering group to assemble a best practice strategy that will fully engage and provide vital support to this community.To make extended contact with other support services to identify and implement key methods of support as wellTo maintain this network borough-wide to fully support the 6k with the condition and their carers.Key achievements:* An amazing journey of outreach engagement that has logged over 1,150 contacts and had attendances over to over 270 supporting events* The creation of 4 monthly cafes (1 a week) inspirationally themed that attract average attendances of nearly 30 every session which include Pubs n Pastries, Royal Reminiscence and Chatty Cafe.* Successful identification of key challenges affecting the dementia community and implementation of measures to address these that included designing a dementia friendly website, launch of a dementia diary in Feb 2025 now promoting over 30 supporting events and delivery of \'Dementia Friends\' Sessions across the RBWM Business Community* Plans for an innovative county-wide \'Memory Walks\' Event for implementation across the whole of Berkshire* Formation of a steering group of 4 organisations that went up by over 300% to 13 professionals. Polished organisation and chair of monthly meetings since July 2023* Networking skills securing awareness and collaboration with hundreds of private sector sources supporting the dementia community proving that the private sector CAN work with the RBWM charity and voluntary sector and co-resource support activity* The 2 year success of the project has led to an extension of 12 months from Frimley ICB and RBWM Council
