As MD I set up CTM in 1998 with a team of managers to provide a quality service to the event industry in the areas of admission control, traffic management, parking and general stewarding. That team has grown to be one of the leading providers in the industry recognised for excellence and going the extra mile. A team that has experience supplying access control, signage, ticket sales, traffic planning, transport and parking as individual elements or as a complete package if required. The aim is to provide a quality operation at a venue that is second to none and to grow through reputation for providing quality. Since starting the company we have developed our provision so that we can now provide Police accredited Traffic Officers (PATO\'s) on the highways in over 25 different force areas to help with event traffic flows. We are now arguably the leading company in the UK providing this service. Being market leaders through the quality of our provision is the driving force of the company and has resulted in the company providing services for some of the largest events in the UK including the Pope\'s visit in 2010, the Olympics in 2012 and the Tour de France (stage 1 and 2) 2014. I have now moved to a non Exec role and handed over the MD role to David MacDonald who is well placed to continue to lead the team having stepped up from Head of Operations on the 1st August 2020.
