ABOUT STEVE GILLMOR
As a fourth-generation Utah sheep rancher, I grew up managing land, logistics, and long-term value—then learned firsthand how to sell a product by taking lamb to farmers markets across the state.At nineteen, I joined the U.S. Army, studied Arabic, and served in Afghanistan as a signals intelligence analyst, developing the discipline, risk assessment, and analytical rigor required to make sound decisions under pressure. After completing my service, I earned a degree in psychology, sharpening my understanding of negotiation and human behavior.Following my degree, I purchased my first duplex and began managing tenants myself. Since then, I have built over six years of multifamily experience, including renovations, value-add projects, and new construction lease-ups, with responsibility for 1100 units across the Wasatch Front working with 40+ property owners to maximize their investments.Today, I work with investment-focused buyers and sellers from an operator’s perspective—helping buyers acquire residential assets with strong fundamentals, and helping sellers position and market their properties to maximize value.
