As well as 30 years of clinical experience as a consultant, I have extensive experience of working at Board level as the Executive Medical Director of the Trust and other high level medical management roles.2 In addition to being a very skilled presenter, I am also an acknowledged moderator and chairman of medical meetings of all sizes and formats; I also have experience of organizing such meetings with one of my particular interests and talents being the development of meeting content and the use of interactive tools to encourage audience participation.3. This also links in with another key skill and interest-the development and delivery of medical education programmes for medical staff and health care professionals at all levels using a variety of media.4. For some time I was Associate Medical Director for Academic Affairs where I also gained experience of the administrative aspects of medical training and education.5. Having developed a very successful research programme, I am aware of all current aspects of medical research including the design, approval, and implementation of research protocols.
