I joined SKIDATA in November 2017 as Regional VP, responsible for Latin America. At that time the region was loss making, with subsidiaries in Brazil, Chile and Mexico losing money. Within two years, I was able to achieve turnaround into profitability, and took on the MEA region. Since then, I have managed a group of subsidiaries and distribution partners selling access control hardware, software and solutions across the Parking & Mobility and Sports & Entertainment sectors, and assisted the sale of the Group to Assa Abloy in September 2024. Notable highlights include:• Driving sales increase 50% within first full year, guiding LatAm move to profitability • Rapidly scaling responsibilities, adopting responsibility for MEA (Middle East & Africa) region within one year• Successfully supporting Group management in finding global synergies and driving regional hub restructuring• Selling projects to Saudi, Qatar & Bahrain F1, Saudi Ministry of Sport (2023 World Cup), and parking solutions in Morocco, Dubai, Saudi, Turkey & Africa
