ABOUT STEPHEN JONES

Founder and CEO of Comparison Creator, with brands such as Protect your gadget. I have over 33 years’ experience of working within the Insurance Industry, and have gained experience at both operational, board and non-executive level.I am highly regarded within the Insurance industry for my knowledge of insurance and developing positive underwriting profit, and fintech business, ability to identify, develop and build new start-up businesses.I started my career in the Insurance Industry with the AA in 1991 and moved to the Admiral Group in 1994 where I enjoyed 10 years’ service. In 1997 I identified an opportunity to move into the Commercial Vehicle Market. With my vision, from a standing start I created a new brand for the Admiral Group, Gladiator Commercial. This business was one of the most successful companies specialising in Commercial Vehicle the UK. When I left the business in 2003 as Managing Director the business employed over 90 staff and was delivering to Admiral Group a multi-million pound profit year on year. Since 2003 I have enjoyed many senior executive roles within large Insurance companies, assisting them in creating Insurance programmes both on and off line. I am the Founder of Comparison Creator, which I founded in 2009. A fintech business working with retail customers including the top 4 comparison companies in the UK disrupting markets and helping them offer value added products and monetising their databases. In 2020 we launched our first direct to consumer proposition, Protect your Family, our first B2C proposition designed to save families money. We\'re part of Fintel, the UK\'s leading fintech and support services business.
