BA Politics with International Relations | Public Affairs | Public Relations | Communications | Marketing | Journalist/MediaBased in Barnard Castle but work remotely and able to travel.I have always had a keen interest in keeping up with the news and shifting trends, and aware of the social, global, political, and cultural implications that are vital for convincing and persuasive communication. This has guided my academic and extracurricular choices, as well as forming my early career decisions. For example, my experience working with various forms of media from presenting on our University Radio, managing Social Media campaigns to drive up engagement and attendance for society events, and leading a team as Editor-in-Chief of a student-run political journal. I have further developed these skills by seeking out experience both in Parliament, and as a PR & Comms Intern for a charity. Further, I have experience working in teams and liaising with external actors to organise events, including to raise significant sums for charity. I have always put myself out there, pushing my comfort zone and finding new solutions to problems that arise, and this has been recognised through awards for academic excellence and extracurricular development throughout my studies, including most recently the York Award Gold. My experiences thus far have awoken a passion for public relations, communications and the media, selling the appropriate messaging and platform for varying scenarios. I am excited to bring this passion and enthusiasm, creativity and flair to the workplace.
