As a Clinical Nurse Leader, I like to think of my career like the role of an architect, designing the framework that helps healthcare systems thrive. Nursing isn’t just a profession; it’s the cornerstone of patient care. For over 27 years, I’ve worked to build that foundation strong and adaptable across various organizations. Whether I’m supporting frontline nurses as the VP of Clinical Support and Programming at Asbury Communities or overseeing complex healthcare systems as Chief Nursing Officer, my goal remains the same: to make sure every brick of care—from clinical competencies to best practices—fits perfectly.My journey started with Signature Healthcare, where I spent over 20 years refining my expertise. I led multiple facilities, balancing clinical operations with patient-centered strategies. I learned early on that nursing care is like crafting a blueprint. It requires foresight, precision, and adaptability. Programs and protocols are like beams and arches, supporting the structure, but the heart of it lies in how the care is delivered day-to-day by those on the frontlines.Now, at Asbury, I continue to expand this vision, collaborating with teams, ensuring clinical excellence, and improving outcomes, one program at a time.
