ABOUT STEFANIE SCHMIDT HAHNE
I combine deep expertise in immunology and autoimmune diseases—especially B-cell biology and B-cell–targeted therapies—with international leadership experience in Global Medical Affairs. Early in my career, I published on CD19-directed approaches and plasma cell biology, and I continue to bring scientific depth and foresight to decision-making in complex, fast-moving settings.I’m strongest at translation: helping teams make sense of complexity, identify the core problem, and convert scientific insight into clear narratives, evidence-based strategy, and executable global-to-local plans. I’m at my best in high-ambiguity situations with limited resources—when clarity, prioritization, and momentum matter. My edge sits at the intersection of science, digital innovation, and empathetic leadership. I build frameworks, questions, and learning formats that improve decision quality and scale across markets—across areas such as medical strategy, scientific communication/education, insights, and medical excellence.Beyond my corporate role, I apply this mindset as founder and chair of Denksport e.V, a non-profit platform focused on structured thinking, creativity, and problem-solving—exploring how better thinking can be learned, practiced, and applied across generations. This work informs how I facilitate cross-functional discussions and workshops around decision-making, complexity, and innovation.I welcome connections with colleagues in pharma, biotech, and scientific innovation who value rigorous science, reflective leadership, and new ways of working.
