The Director of Communications is a volunteer member of the ISC2 Alberta Provincial Board and plays a strategic role in shaping and amplifying the chapter’s voice. This position is responsible for driving clear, consistent, and engaging communications that strengthen member engagement, increase awareness of chapter initiatives, and support the chapter’s mission across Alberta.Serving as the steward of the chapter’s communications strategy, the Director of Communications oversees internal and external messaging across digital channels, collaborates closely with fellow board members, and ensures timely, professional, and values‑aligned communications for events, programs, and community outreach. This role is ideal for a communications leader who is passionate about cybersecurity, community building, and volunteer leadership.Managing communications across various platforms to ensure consistent and effective messaging.Overseeing publications, including newsletters and announcements.Maintaining and updating the chapter’s website to reflect current events, resources, and member information.Coordinating membership engagement efforts, including outreach and information dissemination.Collaborating with other board members to support chapter goals and enhance community involvement.
