ABOUT STACY GRAHAM-HUNT
My work lives at the intersection of culture, story, and institutional life.I am an NABJ National Award winning writer whose work has appeared in Essence, Ms. Magazine, Black Enterprise, and The Everymom. I was a syndicated columnist for Hearst Connecticut Newspapers and the author of Processing Pain, a collection of personal essays published in 2016.As a PR and marketing strategist, I work with some of the most significant cultural institutions in the country, serving as marketing consultant to Yale Schwarzman Center and PR consultant to the Harlem Fine Arts Show and the International Festival of Arts and Ideas.I am the creator of How Was The Funeral, a grant-funded community celebration of loved ones we’ve lost, and Reading the Room, a cultural commentary series that names what the room is feeling before it knows how to say it.The work has always been there. Now I’m making sure you can see it.
