She lives in San Diego with her husband and children and enjoys distance running, triathlons, drawing, traveling and outdoor adventures. Yep, she’s an Ironman.I\'m dedicated to helping humanity find a more sustainable path that allows all living creatures and our environment to thrive. I\'ve seen the beauty of small, tribal villages where people live in balance with nature. Where they understand and respect the boundaries of the Circle of Life. Where consumerism doesn\'t exist.I\'ve witnessed the destruction of communities, human deprivation and suffering because of war, conflict, religious strife and lack of good governance. I\'ve watched 5 year old children walking the streets in Kabul, Afghanistan barefooted, searching for garbage to burn because their family might freeze in the cold overnight. No toys, no playtime, just trying to survive.I\'ve also experienced the beauty of local communities and countries coming together as a coalition, providing access to water, food and shelter, reducing suffering and deprivation. And it\'s happening all over our world despite what you see in the news. After working around the world with organizations like NATO, USAID, World Food Program, OFDA, and many amazing NGOs, I know what\'s possible; I\'ve seen what\'s possible when we collaborate as a unified team focused on uplifting our world instead of destroying it.How do I do this- Teaching, Inspiring and activating individuals, community groups and organizations to improve the quality of life for all living beings and our ecosystems- Bringing people together to solve our world\'s biggest challenges
