Hi! I’m a Social Media Manager with 4+ years of experience, ranging from agency work to in-house roles. I have a background in communication (Bachelor’s degree) and started my career as a travel content writer before diving into social media management. When the pandemic hit, I helped grow my family’s fashion brand’s social media presence from scratch—everything from content creation and strategy to managing photo shoots and responding to DMs. This hands-on experience caught the attention of friends and colleagues, which led me to pursue social media management professionally. I kicked off my agency career at Projecsia, managing social media for brands like Kolkata Craft Coffee, Yellow Straw and Kwality Restaurant Piccadily Square, I coordinated with design and video teams, managed content calendars, and executed photoshoots to ensure each post was on point. Afterward, I moved in-house to Brustro, where I worked with artists to develop content and strategies that resonated with their audience. Now, at Umay Benaras, I continue to elevate the brand’s visibility, strategizing content and coordinating shoots to ensure we’re always on top of our social game.
