In 2012 I joined ZEISS as a Product & Application Sales Specialist covering Automation, specialized in Slide Scanning Axioscan, and Automated Confocal Microscopy (Celldiscoverer 7), and responsible in advising BioTech and Pharma companies to create automated workflows involving microscopy.I got extensive experience with microscopes started at the University of Copenhagen as a Master student performing research on cancer cell migration, cell-adhesion & signalling. I continued my research path as PhD student at the University College London and moved to Kings College London as a post-doc, where I continued working on cancer cell migration, and used spinning disc, confocals, and multiphoton microscopy to address these questions. As a Junior PI in Lisbon, Portugal, I expanded into imaging cell migration in vivo in fruit flies combining the fields of cancer progression and embryonic development.
