ABOUT SOPHIE R.

Supporting, advising, enabling and empowering small business owners to properly understand the accounting side of their business. With the goal to make better decisions, facilitate growth, and make accounting and bookkeeping a breeze rather than a chore. Working with some wonderful partners like Xero, Hubdoc, Telleroo, Starling Bank, Fathom, Swoop, BarTab and many more to make your accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, forecasting and other finance functions more efficient, automated and less burdensome. But enough about Linford Grey, this is my LinkedIn profile. Born and raised in Amsterdam, I have a huge amount of work experience in Marketing, PR and Communications, because the education system in The Netherlands is much better than here in the UK (#sorrynotsorry). Always wanted to be in PR and worked on some large accounts in the UK, but it almost gave me a burnout. So moved into Digital Marketing and Social Media. Fast forward to 2023 and I\'ve been working as Head of Media & Marketing at Linford Grey Associates for nearly four years. I\'ve grown massively in my skill set after being stuck in a dead end job for five years with an extremely toxic work culture. Google Ads, Email Marketing, Social Media, Content Creation, Social Ads, you name it I\'ve either done it. Reasonably successfully I would say as I\'ve been nominated for a number of awards for my hard work and dedication to my role. Most recent being Scale-Up Entrepreneur 2023, Breakthrough Award at the Generation Next 2022 Awards and Rising Star in the NICHE Business Awards 2022.
