ABOUT SOPHIE BOULDIN

Hi, my name is Sophie Bouldin. I am a current student at Centre College where I plan on graduating spring of 2026 with a specialization in Business. During the summer of 2023, I had the opportunity to do two shadow internships, one with BP following their Head of People & Culture, Retail Operating Organization through the Thornton’s acquisition. I was exposed to day to day HR operations, participated in multiple HR training classes, and had an opportunity to network with many managers and analysts. Earlier that summer, I shadowed at Brookfield Asset Management in New York, NY. There, the Director of Media Relations exposed me to work activities in public relations, communications, working with media, website updates and social postings, and reacting to news and current events. I value involvement and hard work. I am on the Cross Country and Track team. Thus far, we have won the SAA conference women\'s campion title in both cross country and track (2022,2023). I have been named the SAA Rookie of the year in both cross country and track, as well as the Centre Rookie of the year in both sports. I am grateful to say I have experienced what it is like to be on a nationals stage 3 times now - D3 Cross Country Nationals twice and Outdoor Track and Field Nationals once - which neither competitions are easy to qualify for. I am excited to apply my leadership skills to my new role as a team captain. My experience in extracurriculars on Centre\'s Campus has bolstered my ability to not only exceed my potential success academically and athletically, but to also to advocate for others discriminated against. As I continue, I become more eager to learn about how I can use my dedication and hard work in areas of my life to reach my fullest potential. I intend to use my values to help others outside of campus as I reach my goals. I look to apply my knowledge on communication skills, organization, and business skills during my internships.
