As a Mechatronics Engineer (specializing in mechanical, electrical, and controls systems), I am passionate about improving our built environment through practical, sustainable solutions. With over 10 years of experience across a diverse range of roles, I have developed a holistic understanding of how buildings function as integrated systems. My interdisciplinary background allows me to navigate the complex relationships between stakeholders—policy makers, municipalities, utilities, owners, operators, tenants, architects, contractors, and engineers—and contribute to shaping our communities.Throughout my career, I have contributed to a variety of projects across commercial, multi-unit residential, institutional, industrial, and non-profit sectors. These projects have spanned both new construction and retrofits, and I\'ve played key roles in areas such as business development, equipment specification, mechanical and electrical design, efficiency and decarbonization studies, project management, construction administration, and policy making.In addition to my technical expertise, I have taken on leadership roles in growing teams and expanding divisions within my organizations. I have led the successful implementation of management software and optimized internal processes, driving significant improvements in efficiency, collaboration, and overall project delivery.
