Retail banking, cards and payments are under constant pressure:rising costs, commoditised products and declining customer engagement.Increasing transaction volumes alone does not solve this challenge.For many years, I have been working on the question of how banks and large consumer-facing enterprises can turn everyday payments into sustainable customer loyalty and additional revenue streams — without subsidy-driven models, reputational risk or large-scale IT projects.The focus is not on individual incentives, but on economically viable loyalty and revenue models based on real transaction data and performance-driven logic.In my current role, I work with senior decision-makers across board, product and payments levels in multiple European markets on the design and scaling of such models.Exchange on payments, loyalty economics and data-driven revenue strategies is always welcome.
