Effectively purchases and procures all materials/commodities to support company function.• Purchase includes but is not limited to manufacturing items (fin tubes, vane packs, filters, pressure gauges, check valves, fasteners, gaskets, PTFE/fabreeka, paint (Sherwin William/International Paint/Carboline), etc.)• Purchase includes but is not limited to shop consumables (Welding wire, PPE, power tools, welding supplies, bandsaw blades, coolant, taps/drill bits, abrasives for grinders, gases (argon/acetylene/nitrogen/oxygen) etc.)• Purchase includes but is not limited to parts for upkeeping all commercial trucks/trailers, forklifts, and any large production machine in the facility.• Negotiates most competitive pricing and lead times on all procurements.• Accurately generates and monitors purchase till delivery.• Assists accounting on any issue with invoices and obtains credits. • Highly efficient in company MIR system - Fishbowl to create and keep inventory usage. • Well versed in conflict resolution between suppliers and internal employees to ensure full satisfaction for all parties involved. • Vetting/setting up all new suppliers to make sure they fit our company needs.• Processing audits on vendors to fit our ASME code requirements.
