ABOUT YAROSLAV DUBENSKY
I\'m an Account Manager at DataArt with a proven track record in establishing long-term partnerships and delivering IT solutions tailored to clients\' unique needs. I am currently responsible for client relations with an investment management company, where I engage with over 30 key stakeholders to align with their strategic objectives. Leading a dynamic team of 80+ skilled professionals, I ensure seamless collaboration and delivery.I\'ve been in IT since 2001. I started developing commercial software in C++ the same year I approached the university. I was the only developer in a technological company responsible for migrating a DOS application to Windows and performing business analysis, development, and QA independently. Now I can\'t hold myself to facepalm looking at sources of that solution. But it worked in production in the end, despite the ugly architecture. I got my first managing position in 2012 when my team in the consulting company started to grow dramatically. I\'ve been working for a Swedish company for around 8 years, spending half of my life onsite. That influenced my management style: I believe that the main responsibility of the manager is to ensure that all the team members have everything they need to perform with the highest efficiency and to become the best versions of themselves. They are not working for me, it\'s the opposite: I\'m working for them.During my free time, I like mountain skiing, sailing and diving. But my biggest passion is playing music. As a musician, I am working as a session bassist on stage and in the studio and as a guitarist only on recording sessions.
