Responsible for purchasing materials and components for Special Events production & Barton G’s restaurant Food Vehicles which includes building materials, carpentry supplies, furniture, lighting, accent décor, accessories, fabric, packing supplies and floral supplies. Issued, processed and tracked purchase orders through delivery. Oversee the receiving of products, resolve discrepancies with shipping, damages, shortages and returns. Coordinate with WM to ensure products are properly distributed and stored. Work with Accounting on COD payments and resolving any invoice discrepancies. Partnered with Design, Chefs and Carpentry on new developments of food vehicles that align with Barton G’s restaurant dining experience, researching specialty items and props that are available, cost efficient & food safe. Researched and identified prospective alternatives/options and suppliers for all materials, negotiating and achieving the most competitive prices, enhancing event job costs, food vehicle budgets and timely deliveries. Collectively managed all aspects of production for events and food vehicles with department teams from inception to delivery as well as the install of events on day-to-day basis, identify and resolve any potential issues beforehand. Managed and maintained inventory for all items purchased and produced including existing inventory and the rotation within the warehouse, working with the WM and labor crew on organization, labels, photos, proper packing to avoid damage, furniture repairs, physically counting and proper storage to conserve space and comply with safety. Worked closely with the Linen and Sewing departments on all linen, fabric, pillows, trim and accessories inventory, preparation for linens, sewing projects and production time lines.
