Owned relationship with Benefits teams across EU, MEA, UK & IRE to lead functional Benefits-focused communications across 12 countries with over 100k employees. • Manage all reactive and functional communications about benefits, policy updates and regulatory changes to inform both Corporate and Operations employees and manage sentiment • Draft and advise on crisis communications covering challenging situations such as natural disasters, political conflict to ensure employees understand the benefits available to help them cope• Create and deliver quarterly Benefits newsletters for 10 countries with an average open rate of 35%• Lead communications strategy and delivery for annual benefits enrolment cycles across 10 countries. This enrolment cycle in most countries is a 4-weeks-long crucial window that is opened for Amazonians to make any changes to their benefits. In 2023, the communications engagement has led to +8% YoY increase in MEA employees upgrading their medical insurance plans. The 2024 UK enrolment communications led to 43% employees enrolling in the Private Medical benefit up from 37% pre-enrolment despite rate changes• Own and manage annual spend towards translation services from an external vendor – Lionbridge• Develop and explore AI-based personas to optimize the internal communications processes and initiatives; established an AI persona to write data-driven retrospective documents for big-ticket campaigns touching employees• Explore and establish new communication channels such as a dedicated benefits Slack channel to deliver updates to employees in the UAE. Launched a pilot channel for UAE benefits information in April 2025. This new channel will be launched in a phased approach across 36 countries in Amazon’s EMEA operations
