Overseeing and supporting a team of Community Counselors who work directly with host families and au pairs participating in the Department of State J-1 Visa cultural exchange program. This program provides a unique childcare solution while fostering cross-cultural exchange, and it operates under strict regulatory guidelines.Key Responsibilities:Supervise & Support Field Staff – Recruit, train, and provide ongoing mentorship to Community Counselors, ensuring compliance with program policies and federal regulations.Family & Au Pair Relations – Serve as a point of contact for host families and au pairs, addressing concerns, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive exchange experience.Conflict Resolution & Mediation – Approve rematch requests, guide counselors in problem-solving, and directly mediate challenges when necessary.Crisis Management & Compliance – Respond to emergencies, oversee incident reporting, and provide critical support to affected participants.Strategic Growth & Program Development – Collaborate with marketing and leadership to assess regional growth opportunities, ensure adequate counselor coverage, and support recruitment efforts.
