ABOUT SIMON MOORE
Simon is a consultant in the Ashurst projects team. He has extensive experience of advising on projects in the UK and Middle East in the infrastructure and renewable energy sectors. Between 2011 and 2016 Simon worked as General Counsel for Mubadala Petroleum, and then Mubadala Real Estate and Infrastructure, in Abu Dhabi. He has acted on a wide range of concession based transactions (including for sponsors, contractors, funds, lenders and governments, in healthcare, education, student accommodation, transport, defence, and solar energy. Simon advises on all forms of project documents, including joint ventures, shareholders agreements, concession, offtake, construction and outsourcing agreements. Simon has also advised on a large number of acquisitions of UK solar PV assets, on a greenfield, shovel-ready and operational basis, with and without government subsidy, on a single and multi-site basis. He advises on forward funding, development services, grid-share, PPAs, EPC and O&M contracts. Simon also advises on concession agreement disputes, terminations, and operational issues.
