With a proven track record as a transactional expert, I have extensive experience in corporate and project finance, M&A, corporate governance, and regulatory compliance across transportation, clean technology and biotechnology sectors. I thrive in dynamic environments where I can lead, communicate effectively, and drive business outcomes.Currently, I serve a Senior Associate with Ashurst LLP, and am a member of the Project and Energy Transition practice group.I previously served as AVP of Legal & Regulatory at Mission Barns, a biotechnology startup pioneering \'cultivated meat\' technology to reduce the environmental impact of conventional animal agriculture. I managed all the company\'s legal and regulatory matters, led cross-functional regulatory teams, drove fundraising initiatives, and developed intellectual property strategies.As Senior Counsel at Hyperloop One (formerly Virgin Hyperloop), a zero-emission, high-speed transportation technology startup, I led the company\'s legislative strategy, securing the first-ever federal funding eligibility for hyperloop projects under the 2021 Bipartisan Infrastructure Law, positioning the company for future growth. I oversaw a diverse portfolio of legal matters, ensuring compliance and strategic alignment with the company\'s mission.Previously, at Latham & Watkins LLP, I represented public and private companies, equity sponsors, and financial institutions in a wide range of complex transactional matters, honing my skills as a versatile and effective legal professional.I earned my JD from the University of California, Berkeley School of Law, graduating with Order of the Coif honors and receiving the Energy and Clean Technology Law Certificate.
