ABOUT SIMON HARRISON
I\'ve worked for much of my career at Mott MacDonald, where I\'m currently a Mott MacDonald Fellow and Group Head of Strategy. Over the years I\'ve worked globally as a power systems analyst, then on private sector power generation projects, covering the full range of technologies - thermal, renewable, hydropower and nuclear. Later I spent time in busieness development and divisional management, before moving into corporate strategy. Alongside this I continued to develop my interest in energy through the Institution of Engineering and Technology, and most recently the Royal Academy of Engineering, and have had the priviledge to lead a number of groundbreaking industry initiatives related to electricity sector transformation in Great Britain.Outside of work I love all things arts, culture and heritage, and very much enjoy chairing Creative Island, the Isle of Wight\'s cultural development agency, seeking to create opportunities for greater wellbeing across society through culture.
